Religious and Cultural Voices Meet in Madrid
Madrid brought together faith representatives, cultural figures and civic voices to celebrate dialogue, diversity and mutual respect. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, Fernando Hernández of the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and Denise González. Speakers offered personal, cultural and institutional perspectives on how education can reduce prejudice.
In the discussion, participants considered themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s interest in education, prevention and civic responsibility. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and eu newsletter international institutions, said that cultural and religious diversity can become a strength when supported by education and dialogue.
